These brothers from the Mojave desert currently reside in Humboldt County, CA and are dear old friends of mine. In addition to a wide and tasteful of old country tunes, they write a lot of their own classics and perform in public rarely. There are bootleg recordings of this group out there, this is one more to add onto the pile. I recorded them at first in Colin's apartment in Arcata, then later the same month I recorded them in a garage in Palmdale, CA at a house show on December 23, 2009, which is the take you hear on this album.
