My friend Andrew Ebright and I were in Portland waiting to pick up a friend from work, and I decided to call up Jack and see if he was interested in doing a song. He said he didn't know any off hand, but too come by in 45 minutes and he and Marcie would figure something out. We followed the directions to his house and knocked on the door, and there they were, Marcie with a mandolin and Jack with a little Yamaha keyboard, snacks and tea on the table. Not a minute later I hit the record button... instant magic.
