I went to the home of Raymond Raposa (aka Castanets) in Portland, OR one night with my friend Mike Dixon. It was pretty straightforward, we just went down to the basement and had some beers, found some batteries for the cassette recorder, and we were ready, except... where's that blank tape? Oh well, I guess we can record over this Jonathan Richman and the Modern Lovers cassette. But not the whole thing, okay? Do you have some scotch tape to cover up these holes? No? I'll just wad up this paper and cram it in there. Harmonies? Sure, Mike and I will do our best.
